Day 7

Day 7 of our Twelve Dogs of Christmas Pageant. Just send in a photo of your dog or clearly – see an earlier post – cat. Tell your friends, especially those who might like the Chet and Bernie mysteries and Christmas and – as you can see from today’s post – Hanukkah.
Also I’d like to pass on this note from Kristin, my superb editor: “UP ON THE WOOF TOP will be a Holiday Reads Kindle Big Deal selection from 12/15 to 12/21. The ebook will be downpriced to $2.99 wherever ebooks are sold. A great way to get into the holiday spirit!”
And now over to Lynn Stringer, who writes: “Bree, celebrating her first Hanukkah.”

  1. Greetings!

You are a pretty girl, Bree! Happy Hanukkah to you and your humans!

A very nice 48 degree day in this neck of the woods.

    Good afternoon to all!

  2. I guess Brie is studying for her first Barkmitzvah. She doesn’t look 13, not even in dog years.

I have several photos of Ramses and Candy in various holiday attire, mostly collars and hats. Santa hat. Tree hat, Reindeer antlers. Unfortunately they can’t be posted and Ramses’ Phriday Photos essay is too old to bring up. But I think I haven’t written up Candy yet so maybe I can get that done before the end of the year.

  3. We feel like Bree and Franklin need to meet!

Our Protege and her Accomplice have Christmas sweaters courtesy of a certain evil pug from a couple of years ago.

  4. We have been itching for some engage in some, er, antics. With that in mind, we already signed up for community service with Santa again this year. We’d still like to see if you can negotiate splitting the cookies with him. If it helps, we’ll wear the antler headbands he’s asked us to wear every year since we’ve been on the naughty list. We draw a line at dressing like elves.

  5. Pride mixed with occasional amazement.

Franklin says Miss Bree does look quite enchanting, but his heart still belongs to Freyja (but please don’t tell Tilly, Abby, Lucy Zeta, Zara or Maise that he said that).

  6. WTAFP: If the truth is told, we often amaze ourselves, too. It feels good to be on the same page, whatever that means.

More to WTAFP: We have been hoping that you’re having a happy Hanukkah. We’ve been hoping that a pallet of dreidels will fall off the back of the truck, but alas…the hunt continues.

    1. Gee, I wish I had known sooner. When the new garage door got put in I could finally start clearing things out and one of the things I found was my school holiday decorations. I gave the menorah, candles and a lovely little dreidel music box to my jeweler. I could have mailed it to WTAFP instead.

I still have two beanie babies somewhere, named Menorah and Dreidel. I will remember to keep them aside if I ever find them. If WTAFP doesn’t want them Franklin can use them as toys.
