When I get toward the end of writing a new book – which is where I am now – I tend to forget about other things. For example: January ended and February began. So what happened to the Friend of the Month reminder? Good grief. We’ll pick up that thread tomorrow. Maybe.

ML! Thanks for your project update last night. Mom looks forward to reading about your many endeavors (I’m sure thinking she will get inspired…I’m still waiting to see if that happens.)
We are finally having a warmer week and the snow/ice is almost gone. Yay!!!
Sometimes I’m a little hesitant, being that we have no snow and the weather is so nice I can work outside while the rest of you are snowed in and hunkered down. I don’t want to incite any jealousy or rub it in. My envy of the rest of you comes in mid summer to fall when we are baked and crispy and the rest of you are lush and green.
I have been preoccupied lately as well, Pete. I wish I could say it was for such a noble cause as writing a book, but, alas, I’ve just been out of it!

BigTiny: Glad to hear your snow/ice is gone. Can’t report the same here, although with two days now of temperatures rising above freezing (getting to a balmy 36 degrees today, at least for a while), the deep frozen snow/ice is slowly transforming into deep slush, which is a challenge for Franklin, but he does not seem to mind too much.
