Titles! I recently posted about searching for a title for the Chet and Bernie mystery I’m working on now – the one that will follow RAIDERS OF THE LOST BARK, coming April 13, preorders welcome. The prompt was this: “What’s it about, you may ask: well, they’re all basically about the love between Chet and Bernie, but in particular this one features: online bettors, big-time, ruthless gamblers, fixed outcomes, greed, money, and a very talented young tennis player and rising star who has gone missing.”

Lots of great titles came in (if yours gets used you’ll receive a signed copy on pub day) BUT I forget to include the fact that the young tennis player – although living in the Valley – is Russian. There’s also a parrot named Tolstoy who may be harboring secrets. I myself have managed to come up with one that seems ok – WAR AND TREATS. But let’s hear from you!
