  1. Wose!! Mom will try to get an awesome picture of me and get it sent to you. I’m sure you will want it even if you don’t finish the calendar. Who wouldn’t want my picture?!

  2. Greetings!

Congratulations, Grayson! You sure do look happy being out there on the water in a canoe, on a beautiful blue sky day. Love the photo, and can’t wait to hear all about you. :^)

Congratulations to Buddy and Bella PFOM. B&B’s human is Hobbit, who I miss terribly on this here blog.

Big Tiny: I will be looking out for your photo with baity breath. Darn straight…who wouldn’t want your picture!

    Good Sunday to all!

  3. Grayson. What a great name and what a happy face.

I miss Hobbit too and many of the other regulars. I know they can get here as they’ve done it before.

It is National Tofu day and Cherry Popover day. Pass on both.

It is American Chess day and I know the basics and have several sets but the dogs don’t play as they can’t move the pieces, having no opposable thumbs.

It is Ginger Cat Appreciation day. I have a friend with THREE orange cats. She is partial to orange cats.

Today I’ll be going to the flower shop to send flowers to my Mom for Labor day. Not exactly a holiday we celebrate with flowers but she likes flowers and I like to send her some once a month. Plus a card.

I will be picking up an order from Home Depot. Taller garden fencing. Someone stole a green cantaloupe about the size of a baseball from the garden. It would have been ripe in about two weeks. This is the second year in a row someone stole one of my cantaloupes. Last year it was the day before I was ready to harvest and eat. Cantaloupe is one of my favorite fruits and I am not pleased. Diana ate one of the trailing vines coming over the edge of the garden that had many flowers and so man potential melons. She has been snacking on the sweet potato vines, which I do not mind but now I am putting up fencing around the entire raised bed. No more jumping into it. No more putting heads over the side and snacking. If this doesn’t work they will be barred from the front yard except under my direct supervision.
