Phriday Photos

Where you the readers take over. Send anything about anything to peter.b.abrahams@gmail.com. And now over to my friend Bob Edwards, Skywalker sound guru, who took this photo – “Chihuahua” –  this week in Albuquerque airport on his way to the Telluride Film Festival. He did the sound on this film about Peter Asher, and the sound must be great because he did it and also since there must be a lot of early Beatles. Plus Bob got to do that drive from northern NM to southern CO, one of the best there is,

  1. I love it. I’ve seen it with cows and other animals but the Chihuahua is really sweet. It is covered with a bursted piñata decoration.

Airport art is under appreciated. It can be really creative and be a lovely break for the weary traveler.

If you open the image in a new window you can enlarge it and read the plaque.

  2. Mom has a collection of a similar type art consisting of cats. They are from Mexico and all signed by the artist. Hers are wood. The dog looks like it’s a different material.
Maybe I’ll send some pics in. They are really cool.

  3. Telluride!….Wot a beautiful place….snort!… I had to look Asher up. It seems he has had many lives and times. And still Going!!…whew!

    Chihuahua!…Not impressed…sniff!….Imagine wot a Pug would look like….shudder!

    1. Coincidence!….I started watching a PBS show with my friend right after posting about the Chihuahua and of all things a Chihuahua was featured in the beginning of the show….snort!…Only the guy looked and sounded like a real Chihuahua not a piñata so he was believable….snort!…It’s very hard typing the word “Chihuahua”….grunt!
