Some characters threaten to take over a whole book and need to be kept in check. Fairbanks, seen in the lower right of the Mrs. Plansky Goes Rogue book cover, is one of these.
“Out on the pond there was no sign of Fairbanks. He could be down below. He could have packed up and headed for some better spot. But were there better spots than Little Pine Lake? Was it possible that what interested Fairbanks most of all were the Little Pine condos themselves? In that moment Mrs. Plansky understood Fairbanks through and through. He was down below all right, making reptilian plans and keeping reptilian time.”

Greetings!
I am intrigued by Fairbanks…
Hot, hot, hot in this neck of the woods.
Good afternoon to all!
In the first book Dad. In the second book Fairbanks. Seems there’s always a character challenging Mrs Plansky for attention. And we all know whose fault that is.
I have to say I think Dad is the scene stealer in this Plansky, as well as the first book.
But…Fairbanks is prominent and certainly could be called a hero. Sorry,Chet, I had so say that.
