Sunday: beginnings. Here’s the beginning of Chapter 3 of Mrs. Plansky Goes Rogue, coming July 15 and preoderable now. (Norm was Mrs. P’s husband of many years, now deceased.)
Mrs. Plansky awoke to find herself in her favorite sleeping position, a sort of twisted K. Norm—an engineer, don’t forget—had come up with an inverted C that fit the twisted K perfectly. Once, at a boring party, or maybe even at a not so-boring one, she’d turned to him and said, “How about some of that old KC?” Perhaps raising her voice a bit over the din. Some nearby guest overheard and jumped in. “Can’t beat the barbeque,” she’d said.

Greetings!
I am chuckling at this beginning. :^)
Good Sunday to all!
I can’t quite envision the twisted K. Perchance, on one’s side, bottom arm up, top arm out in front, borrow leg straight down, top leg out at an angle, and Loretta, C, curled up inthe embrace of top arm and top leg? Loretta is a bit twisted, her own self, bless her heart! ❤️
Bottom leg, not borrow leg. I hate that you can’t edit these posts! You’d think I’d learn to proof before clicking on ‘submit’. But nooooo.
