From yesterday, sorry to hear about Putter. Please remember that Wookie went through a full round of chemotherapy for this type of cancer and remained in remission through the rest of his life (2 years) dying of kidney failure linked to leptospirosis, which Putter is unlikely to contract. I know cats are different than dogs, but hopefully this is positive precedent. And thoughts and prayers for Putter throughout his treatment regime.
Thank you, WTAFP! Mom had actually remembered you mentioning that about Wookie and it helped her to decide to try the treatment. Hopefully, we will have our Godfather for a while longer.
Mom remembers her mom talking about how those who were alive when Pearl Harbor was attacked remember exactly the moment they heard the news. Mom’s generation has those memories of the 9/11 attack. Yes, we do remember and honor all those lost and the first responders (2 and 4 legged) who bravely entered to search and rescue!
