Tartan Army (More)

These are the Scottish soccer fans having such a blast in the Boston area. They love it here! Their poet Robert Burns wrote: “O wad some Power the giftie gie us, To see oursels as ithers see us!” He was alluding to the flaws. But what’s happening now is the opposite – the Tartan Army is shining a light on our strengths. So refreshing! (Is it too much to say that sometimes Chet – canine narrator of the Chet and Bernie mysteries but NOT a talking dog – does the same thing?)

  1. We feel like the Tartan Army could teach us a thing or two about having a good time.

WTAFP: On an allegedly related note, we restocked the retainer. Expect it to be depleted if the Tartan Army are good teachers and we’re even better students.

  2. WTAFP: We made fast friends with the Tartan Army on account of us having several vats o’ beer when others are tapped out. Where did our stash come from? We have a sources, but it’s best not to ask questions we don’t want to answer.

But, back to our fast friends…our Protege and her Accomplice will be blurring by more retainer Slim Jims. Three things to note: 1) our Protege and her Accomplice only have a learner’s permit and likely won’t stick the landing; 2) keep and eye out for them because our Protege will be disguised as an orange cone and her Accomplice will be disguised as our Protege; and 3) we sang your legal praises and gave your number to the Tartan Army.

  3. Yes, definitely, Chet shines a light on our strengths… especially Bernie’s! And he does mention his own strengths as well, from time to time…

  4. Thieves. Thanks; advertising is always appreciated. The Tartsns will definitely get the friends and family rate if legal retention becomes necessary.
