The random number generator speaks: “Pishy!” That makes Pishy – a cat, I believe – Chet’s June Friend of the Month. (There have been a few other cat FOMs, maybe 3 or 4.) Pishy will be the FB profile pic till July and the human companion gets a signed copy of the latest Chet andBernie mystery, which just happens to be CAT ON A HOT TIN WOOF. Next month, how about U? Just send in a pic. RNG does the rest. Congrats, Pishy!

Oh no! A cat was definitely involved here. What would Chet say? And not even Miss Kitty.
Wose is on to something. Perhaps we have the first C&B scandal!
I believe the breed of that cat is Acrylic.
But hey. A pet is a pet and I’ll bet Pishy is hypoallergenic.
I don’t think Chet would mind someone being a Friend of the Month just because their human companion couldn’t have a live pet for one reason or another. Allergies and perhaps rental restrictions coming immediately to mind.
Pishy’s human sent in the backstory to the Facebook site. She had entered her real cat every month for a year and she was never picked by the RNG. So the real cat sent in a picture of the cat purse that Ms. Human’s daughter gave her. And it won. I hope OFA will post the whole thing here. It is quite clever. Caused a lot of brouhaha comments before the story was revealed.
