Nephelococcygia (More)

“Angel Dog” from Maury (WTAFP). “It is always difficult to do because cloud shapes change so quickly. I actually think of this an my angel dog, because if you look to the left, there is a trailing cloud that almost looks like an angel’s wing.”

Thanks, Maury. Anyone else?

  1. Thanks, WTAFP! My sky is clear blue today. It looks like this little doggie’s halo is slipping a bit! Kinda like Chet sometimes!

  2. I’ve never had personal experiences with sky dogs. (And I don’t mean the equine variety.)

First, we don’t get that many clouds here. We get them, but since we are technically arid the rains are only certain times of the year and then it’s a lot of cloud cover and then rain.

If I’m outside I’m usually working in the yard looking down rather than looking up.

I do enjoy the photos of those lucky enough to have captured them for posterity.

Thanks, WTAFP, for adding another to Peter’s collection.
