Last day of the month already! My how space/time flies, as Einstein used to say. Imagine how excited he’d have been knowing that today’s the last day to send in a photo for Chet’s April Friend of the Month contest! All you have to do, Albert, is send in a pic. I’m sure you can figure out how. The random number generator (below) does the rest. Winner becomes the FB profile pic for the month and the human companion gets a signed copy of the upcoming Chet and Bernie novel, CAT ON A HOT TIN WOOF. Maybe you have a friend – Max Planck, for example – who knows nothing about C&B, or doesn’t even read, but has a candidate at home. Tell Max he too has a chance!

I wish we could post pix here. I agree with ML: even though it is more complicated, we need to resume Phriday Photos with more enthusiasm. I’m sure Al and Max would agree.

SDHumane not only does dogs and cats but all domestic pets, farm animals and rehabilitates and releases wild animals. They support ALL animals, including the human kind by providing a pet food pantry for those who need a little extra support so they can keep their pets in a loving environment.
SDHumane routinely takes in animals from shelters across the country when they have a need for space. Most recently they took in animals from the Los Angeles shelters to make room for the large number of dogs and cats rescued from a hoarding situation. They are also raising two orphan bear cubs until they are old enough to be released.
