There was a question yesterday about whether Chet — the canine narrator of the Chet and Bernie mystery series but NOT a talking #dog — might ever meet Fairbanks, the gator who plays a role in MRS. PLANSKY GOES ROGUE. That novel is not a C&B so the answer is almost certainly no. However, Chet has had an encounter with a gator named Iko in THE SOUND AND THE FURRY. Right after that, we get this:
