Since the Chet and Bernie Spotify playlist is a recent topic, how about we link to Song for Chet? The lyrics appear in HEART OF BARKNESS. My friend sound wizard Bob Edwards out in Marin read the lyrics and said, “Want this to be a real song? Like with music?” And voila! And not just a song (music by Mitch Watkins, guitarist for Lyle Lovett and Leonard Cohen, fiddle solo by the great Gene Elders from George Strait’s band) but also a video with reader submitted snippets.
