Thanks to everyone who answered the bell in the funny dogs story contest! So entertaining from my POV. The random number generator has picked this entry from Mary Carlson Larson. She’ll be receiving a signed (and rare) printed copy of A CAT WAS INVOLVED, the first Chet and Bernie short story. Great job, everybody! (Should we have more contests?)
“Sherlock was my boy. But I came home and caught him grooming the cat. He looked guilty!”

The kat has never looked better. Way to go Sherlock!
The cat looks guilty too.
If the cat didn’t want to be groomed, Sherlock wouldn’t have had a chance. I think the cat demanded a grooming from Sherlock and he obliged.
Disappointed to miss out on another opportunity to get a hard copy, but hopefully there will be a few more opportunities in the future.
I enjoyed all of the dog stories. And I hope some of them inspired some Chet anecdotes in a future book, given they will be reality-based on the acts of real live dogs.
Greetings!
What a look of “Uh-oh” on Sherlock’s face. :^)
Good Monday afternoon to all!
Miss Wose. Franklin (and Debbie and me too) say thank you very much. We got a very special mail delivery here today. Very, veryvnice indeed. I have it on good authority that Miss Abby says thank you too!
Ooh….i can’t wait to get our special delivery from Ms Wose!!!
WTAFP: So glad that your delivery arrived safely. :^)
Big Tiny: Your delivery got delayed, but it is on its way.
Wose!!! The calendar arrived and Mom and I just love it. You have done another great job! And with the new book having a cat in the cover art and in the title, I’m happy to see a couple of extra months showcasing cats.
Thank you always for continuing to produce such a special keepsake.
We need to continue with our Phriday Photos so you get pictures to use.
Shame! We our holding our heads in shame. Our Lady still needs to get Slim Jims in the mail to Wose. We’re going to hold her upside down to get the payment out of her pockets.
Big Tiny: Glad the calendar arrived safely, and thanks for your kind words! Of course, cats must represent on the Plunder On! Calendar! ;^)
Thieves! Once you are done holding your Lady upside down, please let her know that your calendar is at the post office. :^)
Now we’re really embarrassed. Where did we go wrong with our Lady? We did our best to train her to be an upstanding Thief and she disappoints us like this.
