Anyone in the mood for a sneak peek at CAT ON A HOT TIN WOOF, the next Chet and Bernie mystery in a series that can be read in any order? And speaking of order it can be preordered from all the usual places.
The door to Senor Piggy’s pen was locked and the fence was undamaged, but Senor Piggy was gone. We circled the pen. At the back was a deep hole that began in the pen and ended outside.
“Tunneled his way out,” Bernie said.
I examined the hole, sniffing around, pawing at the edges, the usual. What a wonderful hole! Maybe the best I’d ever seen. I wasn’t thinking I could be friends with Senor Piggy or anything like that, but I was impressed.

Senor Piggy…great name! Not for any particular reason, it makes me think of Senor Wences.
Good afternoon to all!
