Back to the first pass pages of RAIDERS OF THE LOST BARK – coming in April 2027, preorders extremely welcome! First pass is really the last time to make any changes and by the time they arrive I’ve usually been away from the manuscript for a couple months or so. Therefore I’ve forgotten some passages so it’s almost like I’m an ordinary reader coming upon things for the first time! Such as this from page 128:

“Get him to bark.”
“Bark?”
“To say hi.”
“He doesn’t bark on command.”
What was this? A discussion about me and barking? Wouldn’tthat set anybody off? I barked a good one, loud and long. Bernie gave me a funny look. I was considering a second bark but perhaps some other time.
