As some of you know, longtime friends of this blog and of me, WTAFP and Debbie, have been on a tour of Chet land. In Scottsdale they actually had a waitress named Autumn! Can’t get much more Chetish than that (readers of the Chet and Bernie series may recall the recurring character of the same name who works in another corner of the service sector). Two highlights of the trip were the visit to Bryce Canyon (below) and to the Antelope slot canyon near Lake Powell on the AZ/UT border (today’s cover photo). It’s clear they were really moved by the beauty of these sites, which have also made a big impression on me. (A slot canyon modeled on Antelope plays an important role in Bark to the Future.)

WTAFP and Debbie also toured the Sonoran desert and Red Rocks so I’ll best he’s got some saguaro photos! If he sees this post and does have any more photos would he backchannel them to me?
