Yesterday was National Limerick Day. Reader ML was moved to synopsize  Mrs. Plansky’s Revenge (digitally available at $2.99! till the end of the month) in limerick form. This is too good not to share. (It induces limerick responses from other readers, which we’ll get to.)

A lady by name, Mrs Plansky

Was diddled of dough by a Scamsky,

She vowed to track down,

Romania bound

Retrieving her money or damnsky.

  1. Why, thanks for the hat tip. All of the submissions were very good and inspired by Mrs. P.

I was busy today so this post is late. I went to the store to get ingredients for their next batch of dog food and then I spent three hours watching the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, hoping to see King Clarence. No King C but the winners were all worthy. I especially like the Afghan hound.

I like big mutts and I cannot lie. Plus I have always adopted black dogs because supposedly they get passed over. They’ve all been great dogs.

Tomorrow is Bond With Your Dog day, so I’ll get right on that.

BTW, did anyone see the Aurora Borealis over the weekend? I’m way too far south.
