Friend of the Month Reminder

Last day of the month already? Time marches on, and at an accelerating pace – the universe is expanding at an accelerating pace, so it’s no surprise. But what if it started to contract? Would time go backward? (Pictured below is someone who probably had the answer to that, or could have figured it out in two seconds.) But more important, it’s time for the friend of the month reminder. All you out there have to do is upload your friend to the FB page. The random number generator does the rest. The winning friend photo is the profile pic for the entire month and the winning friend’s human companion gets a signed copy of the latest Chet and Bernie mystery, in this case It’s A Wonderful Woof.

  1. Greetings!

I always love seeing the RNG picture.

Wishing Franklin a belated happy birthday. Hope it was filled with long walks, tummies, and ear scritches.

Happy Easter and good Sunday toall!

  2. Happy Easter. Just had some pesto deviled eggs in celebration.

British Summertime begins today. Not the actual summer but their version of Daylight Savings time, which don’t get me started on how stupid it is.

It is also Crayola Crayon day so may your day be a colorful one.

It is also National Clams on the Half Shell day and National Baked Ham with Pineapple day, neither of which appeal to me. Ever. Tonight I will be having Filet Mignon with a baked potato, summer crisp corn, garlic bread and a chocolate ganache slice of, not sure if it’s pie or cake and I don’t honestly care. It’s chocolate and that is all that matters.

So sorry I cannot put Freyja’s photo on the Facebook page but you have all seen it in the March Meowness contest. She is still Chet’s friend as is Diana pawPrints.

Perhaps we can create a blog bypass for next year’s Plunderer’s calendar by just e-mailing photos directly to Wose. Or she can just choose a “best of” from past years.

Today I worked on getting her to go in the dog house. I tossed kibble in and she had to go get it. Near the door at first but eventually against the back wall so she had to enter to get it. Then Diana joined the fun as, KIBBLE. She didn’t seem to have any trouble with the kibble but I will still keep her on soft food for the entire two weeks per the vet. If the making of the home made dog food works out they may both be eating it half and half with the kibble. Bone meal arriving Mar 4-8.

  3. ML, Wose, I still wish we could post and see posts on this blog! Why not?
I sure wish I knew about Plunderers way back when. I feel like I have missed so much!

    1. That’s a good idea.

Wose: Why don’t you do a retrospective calendar with some historic photos and some explanatory text of the origins of the Plunderers and some of the fur members who may be present only in spirit. (Wookie and Teddy come immediately to mind but I know there are others.)
