Mrs. Plansky smiled her off-white smile. Was she coming across as one of those Sunshine State clichés, the late in life divorcee or widow on the prowl? That could work. She would masquerade as a cougar. One small glitch: she’d probably aged out of cougardom. What was another big cat? Saber-tooth tiger. Extinct, as she recalled. It didn’t get any older than that.

Good day to all.
Greetings!
I am chuckling at this excerpt. :^)
Good Saturday to all!
Masquerading as a cougar could be fun! You go, girlfriend! 😃
I didn’t get to read Goliath’s story until now (out of town company). It was sad, but ML did the best that could be done with and for him. And she stayed by his side, loved and held him when he needed her most. He will indeed greet you over the bridge happy and healthy.
