Dolly and I are very excited to be Chet’s friend this month!
Dolly is a Lady of a Certain Age (since a lady never tells!) She is retired from being the Spokesdog of my grooming shop, which I closed in 2020. She has always been a busy person, because she also competed in Rally and Obedience trials; one year she was ranked #5 toy poodle in Rally nationwide. But now she enjoys sleeping, teasing her cats and keeping her younger Sheltie brother out of trouble.
My husband and I are musicians and always name our dogs after other musicians or songs we like. We loved Dolly Parton and often covered her songs in our show.”
