Mrs. Plansky didn’t know what to think. Early in her business career she’d learned that when you didn’t know what to think you kept your mouth shut. She watched a tiny black freighter tracing a tiny white line on distant deep blue.

Greetings!
A valuable lesson to learn. I love the imagery of the last line.
Create a good day!
Good day to all.
Today is Make a Book day. I imagine Books are being made right now with Mrs Plansky Goes Rogue on the cover.
It is also National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day. Something I have been a bit slack on. (Freyja keeps finding my emergency bag of dog food and eating it!)
It is No Socks Day. Given the weather I’m not wearing any and usually don’t except on the coldest days of Winter. BUT I am knitting socks. Finished the current pair soon (a watermelon stripe) and contemplating which one I will start next. I think I have enough yarn for a second pair and they are such fun.
It is also World Donkey day. I like donkeys. I’ve been watching The Irish Homestead on YouTube and they have two, Toby, who was lonely and acquired by convincing a neighbor to give him over and Tilly, who was sought out to provide Toby with a friend. Turns out they both needed companionship and have become fast friends. Toby’s personality has warmed up greatly since getting a girlfriend. Tilly is just a hoot. I think one of the C&B books needs to have a donkey in it at some point for some reason. Just because.
