???

And now, thanks to Mike Farley, who created the #ChetandBernie #spotifyplaylist – see yesterday’s post for the link – here’s today’s musical trivia question:
“What’s special about the rendition of “If You Were Mine” in “It’s a Wonderful Woof?”
(answer tomorrow)

  1. No clue. At a guess I’d say it was either sung by Bernie or sung to Chet but it’s been a few years and my retention for trivia isn’t that good.

  2. Happy National Hug Your Dog day. I know I’ll be hugging mine. Especially Freyja. She needs reassurance pretty regularly and of course, when I hug Freyja I have to give Diana some attention too. Occasionally Diana will feel in need of a hug and will come over, stand right in front of where I am sitting and then just lean into me. Then I must wrap my arm around her and rub her chest. She might even lean her head over and I put my head no hers. Whoever said dogs don’t like hugs is bonkers. I have never had a dog that didn’t like the occasional hug and have had plenty that would demand one when they wanted it.

It is also Encourage a Young Writer day so I’m sure OFA will be doing something writinglyish.

  3. We found a note in our Protégés Book of Master Plans that reads: Hug pug today. Rio: We’ll swing by later with the girls so Howie can check this off her to-pug list.

  4. Bernie took the Billie Holiday part, which in Chet’s opinion, he handled extremely well. And Esme’s dad played the Roy Eldridge solo on his trumpet. (Page 258)
